DaoChant is a Taoist-inspired talisman jewelry brand for people drawn to Eastern symbolism, ritual aesthetics, and wearable intention. Our pieces are physical pendants, bracelets, and accessories, but their appeal comes from the symbols they carry.

DaoChant is inspired by Taoist and Eastern folk visual culture, but you do not need to be Taoist, Buddhist, Chinese, or religious to wear it. Many customers approach the pieces as symbolic objects, personal reminders, or ritual-style jewelry.

DaoChant prepares each order with ritual care: incense, bell, careful packing, and a quiet Daoist-inspired blessing of goodwill and intention as the piece leaves us. This blessing is meant to honor the symbol and the person who will wear it, without promising any specific result.

Meanings vary across traditions and individuals. Many people wear talisman-style jewelry as a reminder of balance, courage, protection, prosperity, love, or connection. The jewelry offers cultural symbolism and personal intention, not a guaranteed medical, financial, or supernatural result.

Choose a simple intention, wear the piece close to the body, and use touch, rotation, or a brief pause to return to that intention. The ritual can be quiet: one breath, one turn, one reminder.

Yes. Each piece is individually hand-finished by artisans. Small variations in texture, patina, and detail are part of the handcrafted character, not mass-production defects.

Materials vary by design and may include brass, S925 sterling silver, oxidized silver-tone finishes, enamel-style finishes, turquoise, Nan Hong agate, cinnabar, crystal, obsidian, and other stone accents. Please check each product page for the exact material list.

Some photos use different chains for styling. Unless a product page states otherwise, pendants ship with our standard black PU leather cord. Most pendants use a universal bail so you can replace the cord with your own chain.

Keep the piece dry when possible, avoid harsh chemicals, wipe gently after wear, and store it separately from harder objects. Patina and small surface changes are natural for hand-finished talisman-style jewelry.

We accept major credit and debit cards securely through Shopify Payments, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and UnionPay. Accelerated options such as Shop Pay, Google Pay, or Apple Pay appear when available for your device, browser, and wallet. Select “More payment options” to use the standard secure Shopify checkout.

Contact us as soon as possible. Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase if they have not entered preparation, procurement, inspection, packaging, or fulfilment processing. After processing begins, cancellation cannot be guaranteed. Shipped orders cannot be cancelled and must follow the return process after delivery.

We currently ship from China to the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong using tracked delivery. Checkout confirms whether your address is supported.

We prepare most orders within 7–10 business days and email tracking after dispatch. Estimated transit is 10–20 business days for the United States, Canada, and Australia; 7–15 business days for Singapore; and 5–8 business days for Hong Kong. Carrier, customs, holiday, and weather delays can affect these estimates. See our Shipping Policy for total order-to-delivery ranges.

All supported destinations qualify for free tracked shipping on orders of US$49 or more. Orders below US$49 may have a shipping fee, which is shown at checkout before payment. US$2.99 accessories are add-on items and must be purchased with at least one regular item priced US$49 or more.

For supported destinations, we use a DDP-style arrangement where available so standard import duties are included. Rare local administrative, sales-tax, or destination-specific charges may still apply.

Refusal or failure to collect is not an immediate completed return. We normally wait for the carrier to return the parcel and inspect it before determining any eligible refund. Actual return-to-sender or carrier charges may be deducted where permitted.

You may carefully try on your piece and request a return within 14 days of delivery, provided it remains undamaged, free from visible wear, and in reasonable resale condition. For a change of mind, tracked return shipping to our Shenzhen facility is customer-paid. Please contact us before returning anything so we can confirm the correct instructions.

Email hello@daochant.com with your order number and clear photos or video. After review, we may provide a replacement, partial refund, full refund, or another reasonable solution. A return is not required in every case; if one is required for an approved product issue, you will not be responsible for reasonable return-shipping costs.

Eligible refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected, unless we confirm that a return is unnecessary. After approval, your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the refund.
